This is a WINTER HEAD race, so please bring plenty of suitable clothing for before, during and after you race: you may be risking your health if you are not dressed correctly.
- For 2009, Veteran events have moved. Men's Veteran eights and women's Veteran fours are in Division 1, while men's Veteran fours and women's Veteran eights are in Division 3.
- Coaches following crews on bicycles should note that the Suspension Bridge upstream from County Hall is closed.

In 2004, the Booth Family, in partnership with Nottingham Britannia Rowing Club, generously donated a trophy for presentation to the fastest boat at the Head of the Trent. This will be presented annually in memory of Cliff Booth a, former President, Captain and Coach of Nottingham Britannia Rowing Club.

Divison 1 Start 10am Clifton Bridge to TS Orion. approx 6000m This course is for Open eights (Elite to Senior 3, Veteran, School Junior + J16); Womens Fours(Elite to Senior 3) ;Women Veteran fours and Womens School Juniors & J16 fours.
